Afterparty se desarrolla en el interior del metro de Santiago el año 2015 un sábado de septiembre a las 10 de la mañana. Con una cámara oculta entre sus brazos, nos propusimos junto a mi amiga y artista Josefina Sastre registrar el viaje de “destransformación” que yo hacía como Nia De indias a Andrés Parra, iniciado desde Estación Baquedano (cerca al barrio Bellavista) hasta mi hogar de ese tiempo en La Dehesa. Esta acción deseaba mostrar mi experiencia partiendo en el mundo del Drag en un contexto donde con 20 años y viviendo junto a mi familia en un barrio alejado de la ciudad, mi orientación sexual y expresión de genero era algo que no se hablaba, por ende, al momento de iniciar la creación de mi alter ego Nia De indias, tenia que llegar a casa como si nada hubiese pasado.

El video se propone como un viaje por distintas estaciones de la línea 1, sumado a un trayecto en micro que en total tomaba aproximadamente 1 hora, en este, las miradas de incomodidad de los usuarios del metro se hacen evidentes ante la presencia de mi cuerpo. La ropa, la máscara, los tacones y el maquillaje van quedando guardados en bolsas mientras voy vistiéndome de acorde a la “forma correcta” de llegar a casa.

Afterparty takes place inside the Santiago, Chile metro in 2015 on a Saturday in September at 10 in the morning. With a hidden camera in her arms, we set out together with my friend and artist Josefina Sastre to record the journey of "detransformation" that I was making as Nia De Indias a Andrés, starting from Estación Baquedano (near the Bellavista neighborhood) to my home in that time in La Dehesa. This action wanted to show my experience starting in the world of Drag in a context where at 20 years old and living with my family in a neighborhood far from the city, my sexual orientation and gender expression was something that was not talked about, therefore, At the moment of starting the creation of my alter ego Nia De Indias, I had to get home as if nothing had happened.

The video is proposed as a trip through different stations of line 1, added to a bus ride that in total took approximately 1 hour, in this, the looks of discomfort of the subway users are evident in the presence of my body . The clothes, the mask, the heels and the make-up are kept in bags while I dress according to the "correct way" to get home.
